The Festival

Bloomfield’s Italian heritage dates back to the early 1900s and Little Italy Days celebrates that tradition. Started in 2002, the festival has grown into a four-day award-winning event! Little Italy Days won first place for both the City of Pittsburgh “Best Special Event” and the statewide Townie Awards. A variety of top-notch entertainment performs on multiple stages throughout the event and there is more food than you can imagine. There is so much to see, do, and eat you’ll want to come back multiple days!

Louis Prima Jr & Simona De Rosa

If you want to hear great music, look no further.  From Italian music to an Elvis impersonator, A wide range of entertainers will perform on three stages throughout the festival. In 2014 Louis Prima Jr. and the Witnesses headlined opening night on Thursday and the phenomenal Italian singer Simona De Rosa, from Naples, Italy will be performed with Pittsburgh’s own Dr Zoot on Friday. We are still working on the entertainment schedule for 2015, so check back for updates.

Entertainment Schedule

You can’t have an Italian festival without food, and Bloomfield Little Italy Days had lots of food. Of course you’ll find all of your Italian favorites – pasta, pizza, sausage, cannoli and more – plus you’ll find everything from ribs to pierogies and corn dogs to funnel cake!
